Observation Stay is a tool used by our providers to monitor a patient's status before determining if they require inpatient admission.

Observation stay is an outpatient status that allows a patient to stay in the hospital, under the skilled care of our nurses, for less than 48 hours. This can be especially useful for patients who are not quite ready to go home and require extra time to ensure they are recovering.
